Woman of Strength

A year has almost gone by since I preached in Moorreesburg for women's month. I remember how nervous I was, how afraid I was especially because I am not from here originally. God reminded me that I am woman of strength because I have Him and so I was inspired to write the poem below. I was asked to give my testimony and then got invited back to preach. Don't despise where and what God has saved you from - He will use you as a sign that wonders and miracles do exist. I hope you enjoy it. God bless.
Woman of strength
In who does your strength lie
In the One who cannot be defied
My Father has kept me
Through all the troubles I’ve seen
And wherever I’ve been -
His hand sheltered me from
The enemy’s plans
Today I can shout out loud,
With You, Lord I can
I can do all things through
Christ who strengthens me
There are times when fear clouds my vision
And then You tell me to make that decision
To be bold and courageous
Because You are with me –
Wherever I go
Now this I know
You are my strength
The One who gives me the power to be called Your daughter
I am a woman of strength because You kept my head above many waters
Thank You, Daddy for Your love and care
My testimony is one I need to share
