Good afternoon, everyone.

Thank you so much for your patience while I sorted this blog out. It is great to be back. I have however posted faithfully on my Facebook page called "Unchanging Hope" should you want to like that page too.

Holy Spirit has been talking to me regarding the character of His children for a very long time now. We need to understand that we are ambassadors of Christ and this is taken too lightly.

"All this is from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation: that God was reconciling the world to Himself in Christ, not counting men’s sins against them. And he has committed to us the message of reconciliation. We are therefore Christ’s ambassadors, as though God were making His appeal through us". 2 Corinthians 5:18-20

Looking at the term Ambassador: it is a respected official acting as a representative of a nation who is sent to a foreign land. The ambassador’s role is to reflect the official position of the sovereign body that gave him authority.

In 1 Corinthians 1:17 Apostle Paul says he is an ambassador and says we should consider ourselves ambassadors too. My question is, Is it not the responsibility of each child of God to reflect Christ as we represent God's Kingdom? (John 18:36)

Yes, we will fail from time to time but we need to stop using grace as a passport to sin. I have said this before but I feel that Holy Spirit is grieved when we act as though we are from this world. We are meant to be different and set apart.

It's time for us to grow up and stop throwing our toys out of the cot. Iv'e seen rants on social media from my siblings in Christ and even in public. We need to repent and get back in line with God's Word.

Why are we still drinking milk? Because the meat offends too much, because we are unwilling to get out of our comfort zones, because we don't want to change and we refuse to allow Holy Spirit to cleanse us. We need to be pure vessels - holy vessels. How can we have a pure flow when we don't think we need Holy Spirit to purge us? May that deceptive spirit die by fire in Jesus name! We need Jesus and we need to die to self. We are royalty - children of the living God and we need to start acting as such.

This lukewarm Christianity needs to come to an end (Revelation 3:16). Choose who will be your God and who you will represent faithfully. The world is watching - reflect Christ who is the light needed in this dark, fallen world!

Be blessed - Samantha
