Dependant on You

Humbled by the grace You show me

I grieve You Lord

With my daily decisions

Not including You in my plans

I know without You,

I cannot stand

The winds blow by and speak of Your wonders and faithfulness

and yet I doubt and cry out,

“Father, where are You!?”

When Your Word says You are with me wherever I go

I try to do things in my own strength but cannot cope

This was proven over and over again

I always end up with more ‘stains’

Save me from myself, Jesus

Save me with Your right hand

I want Your territory to expand

As I walk through my home

May Your Spirit set the tone

Not I, but Christ

I want to live by faith – not by sight

You’re all I need, You’re all I want

Everything I could ever hope for

In You, I am brand new -

Totally dependent on You
