Preparation and operating in own skill set

For the past few months God has been speaking to me about building and checking the walls of defence for cracks and so on. A few weeks ago, Holy Spirit said, Preparing to build is just as important as building - perhaps more important!
Without proper preperation the building itself cannot and will not be done in the best way. The Holy Spirit the lead me to Amos 3:7 and 2 Chronicles 2:1-18. When we read in the passage in 2 Chronicles, we see that there were people skilled in different areas (giftings) and they operated in their giftings and used their skill for their specific tasks.
By doing what they were called to do, they got the job done. They didn't try and do woodwork when they are skilled in working with iron. By labouring together but in using their own skill set, things moved forward. There was no jealousy or envy amoungst them. Everyone is needed and necessary for the advancement of the Kingdom. Everyone functions differently within the body of Christ - let's embrace it instead of breaking each other down.
Preperation includes prayer (individual and corporate), fasting, reading God's Word. We cannot build together if God hasn't given us direction, confirmation or even the go ahead to start at the right time. To build together - there must be agreement. Without the Lord's guidance we will fail to do His will.
Like in 2 Chronicles King Huram sent in help to build the temple and kept alliances with Soloman. So will people in power, leaders want alliances with God'd people and even send in help in various ways needed to build God's Kingdom.
