Discern always and never lay down your sword

Initially when I became ill I just thought it was my immune system that needed a boost but after a a few days I knew something else was wrong. So many interceded for me and encouraged me to take authority. I am truly blessed to have brothers and sisters in Christ as I became weary and listliss.

It's been a rollercoster ride for more than a week. Just when I thought I was ok - I would suddenly become ill again and go back to bed. Last night was the final straw! There was a presence in my room that for the first time - attacked me physically (besides the illness of course). This force hit me on my head so hard that my neck snapped back. I immediately called my husband and he laid hands on me and prayed.

The Holy Spirit reminded me of a gift I had received some time last year. I asked my husband to take it down from our cupboard because I wanted to look at it and also take a picture and send it to a fellow sister in Christ. For months this gift bothered me but somehow I was always distracted away from it.

Lastnight - it was confirmed that this gift was strategically given to me for a time such as this and that I was under attack - hence not being able to speak or hear properly. I am a mouthpiece for God and the enemy hates that! My husband and I made a huge bonfire lastnight and we took authority. We stood in unity and then my husband, Moenaan prophesied over me, 'Your words are like fire and you are protected by a ring of fire'.

I will never lay down my sword again! My sister in Christ said she sees me as a lioness who does not run away from the battle but towards it. (Judges 7:9 - That night the Lord commanded Gideon, “Get up and attack the camp; I am giving you victory over it).

In short - don't receive gifts from just anyone and take it into your home because you don't want to offend anyone. I had to learn the hard way. People seem innocent but we absolutely have to discern always (1 John 4:1-6). Feeling much better and excited to see what God has in store after this battle. We need to keep in mind Ephesians 2:6 "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus - we should fight from a stance of authority and victory - always!
